Wacky Walking Wednesday

The enviro group organised an event for Movin March!  We walked to school on Wednesday wearing wacky shoes.  The enviro gave out stickers and badges to p[eople they saw walking.  

Athletics Day Monday March 24th 2014

Our school athletics day is coming up very soon.

Google Docs

After borrowing MacBook Airs from around the school an expert Michelle R helped us set up our Google Docs accounts to use at home and school.  We started writing all about ourselves.

A visit from Mark Sainsbury

A visit from an expert!  We interviewed Mark Sainsbury to find out ways to make a digital story work well.  We asked about voice, special effects, interview techniques, comedy and other elements of media interest.  Mark helped us start our digital story that we are working on in inquiry and literacy this term. 

After weeks of fantastic skill training from Dane our Active Sticks Coach we got to play hockey.  After gathering in our Whanau House Groups we had a tournament playing each house.  We were proud of Two Room 7 members who got chosen as players of the day.

Room 7 2014!  What a great bunch of super keen students!  We are enjoying our journey together and learning a lot about each other and from each other too.
